Biography

With their new label, MTM music backing them up, they're definitely ready to rumble again! Everything begun back in '98 when the band got signed to a British label through whom released two albums: "Seven Wishes" ('99) and "Utopia" ('01) (Also released in Japan through Nippon Crown.) After almost a year doing nothing, the band decided to either do or die. With some new blood added in the band they started to write new fresh material. At this point Seven Wishes were unsigned since they earlier decided to take a huge step away from the label the band were signed to. A couple of demos later they landed a deal with German label MTM music.

Line-up changes are nothing to aim for, but sometimes it could be necessary. This Line-up with Pelle Andersson, vocals, Tony Westgård, bass, Toby Andersson, guitars and Lennart "Leonid" Karlsson, drums is more solid and groovy than ever! With their new album "Destination: Alive" the band shows that they're still a hard-hitting hardrock combo to reckon with!

With some up-tempo tracks like "Cross My Heart" "Follow The Stars" and "See Through The Lies" mixed with a couple of slower tunes like "Time To Say Goodbye" and "Gone With The Wind" The band definitely proves that they know how to deliver.

In my opinion, this is, without any doubts the best album so far from the guys! Those who miss the golden years of bands like Dokken, Ratt, XYZ etc look no further. Seven Wishes are like a ticking "glitter-filled-with-sunshine-bomb". I will be the first in the front row next time they play live. See you there!
